We’re pleased to share that video highlights from the Wellbeing for Women Project 2023—a collaborative research initiative between nae and members of Mitsubishi Electric Corporation’s Integrated Design Research Center—are now available on YouTube. The workshops were conducted between June 2023 and March 2024, and both a full-length version and a short digest version of the sessions have been published.

The Integrated Design Research Center has been proactively exploring issues specific to women—topics that are often overlooked or considered taboo, especially among male colleagues—through designer-led initiatives.
As part of this effort, two workshops were held:
- Workshop 1 was hosted by the Integrated Design Research Center and invited male employees to participate. The session offered foundational knowledge about women’s health concerns, showcased the cost and tools involved in everyday care, and included a simulated experience of menstrual pain. These activities sparked open, constructive dialogue about how men can better understand and support women's challenges.
- Workshop 2, hosted by nae, focused on the physical and mental wellbeing of women in the workplace—examined through both male and female perspectives. Participants explored actionable steps that companies can take and discussed what kinds of systems are needed to foster more inclusive and supportive work environments.
These ongoing conversations serve as a foundation for building workplaces where everyone—regardless of gender—can thrive.
