nae was responsible for the product design and mechanical engineering of Re:FACE FIRE PIT, the first product released by GRAYSCALE STUDIO. The fire pit is part of the #0 EXPERIENCE SERIES, a line dedicated to premium black outdoor gear.
The design concept, “Outer Frame,” centers around a structure that boldly showcases its beautifully formed frame parts as the product’s defining identity. These are paired with wall panels cut with a pattern inspired by the #0 EXPERIENCE SERIES logo. The result is a versatile fire pit that balances aesthetics and functionality, suitable for both small gatherings and larger group use.
The design also considers future customization: upcoming editions will allow for interchangeable wall panels, enabling users to tailor the appearance to different settings and preferences.
Soft light emanates from the elegant black facade, offering visual enjoyment while the structure supports efficient airflow and accommodates larger logs. This thoughtful engineering ensures a highly efficient burn and a comfortable, elevated fire experience.
